Our Management Staff

Mark Williams was born in Beaumont, Texas on January 23, 1958.  Bowling became part of his life at a very early age.

Mark was introduced to bowling by his parents.  When he was 4 years old he kept score for his mother while she bowled in a league.  He has 2 brothers, one of which also bowled on tour for 3 years.  Bowling was not all that Mark exceled in.  He was active in baseball where he earned a partial scholarship to Hill Junior College.

He and his wife Debbie are co-managers at Crossroads.  They, together with several key staff members, operate one of the best run centers in Texas.

Williams has had his share of success on the PBA Tour and he brings that positive attitude and winning spirit to Crossroads. He is a member of the Professional Bowlers Association.  He has bowled on the tour since 1980 and in 1999 was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame.  Mark has 7 career titles on tour.

Debbie Lynn Williams was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 17, 1963.  It was not long after she could walk that she went on the lanes knocking down pins.

She was a participant in youth leagues throughout New Mexico, Washington and Oregon before graduating to adult leagues at age 17.  Living in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, Debbie rolled her first 700 series at the age of 18.

Debbie left the bowling scene at the age of 22 but came back with a vengeance when she turned 31.  After a 9 year break she started back where she had left off by averaging better than 195 in each of her 5 leagues that fall season.  Debbie's career year came in 1995 when she had six (6) 700 series and a high game of 300.

"It was a dream come true.  My father and brother had both rolled numerous 300 games and were full of pointers if and when the time came for me to shoot 300.  The only thing I truly remember is something my brother told me to do on my field ball...'move two boards left'.  Needless to say if you ever get the first 11, you forget the details.  I moved two to the right and thankfully carried anyway."

Debbie met Mark in Indianapolis a the U.S. Open in October of 1996.   They were bowling next to each other and after a funny misunderstanding and lunch the next day, it was clear that they were meant to be together.  Four days later, Debbie was flying back to Albuquerque, New Mexico to make plans to spend her life traveling the world with Mark.  Promptly quitting her job as the assistant manager at her mother's bowling center.  she enlisted the help of her fiends to pack up the house, take over as secretary for her 5 leagues and was back on a plane 4 1/2 days later.

Mark and Debbie were married on December 12, 1997 at the Orleans in Las Vegas, Nevada.  It was only fitting that the ceremony should be held at the Merit Mixed Doubles as Mark and Aleta Sill had won that tournament the previous year.

Debbie is looking forward to co-managing Crossroads Bowling Center.

"After all, being born and raised in this business, I feel I have something to offer.  We have such great people here, it was easy to retire from the road and call Beaumont home."
